How Can low Grade Fever And Body Pain Be Treated?

Husband had prostrate biopsy Monday morning, took the two antibiotics prescribed - 1 before and 1 after. He has not been feeling good since, usually does feel good. Now running low grade fever, body aches, off and on head ache. Temp at 99-100. Should we try to bring temp down or go to ER? Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking. I understand your concern.
If he does not have any other symptoms (pain or infection at the site of biopsy/any other symptom like respiratory or irinary complaint ...He can be given tablet paracetamol twice after food,&cap. B complex once after food/light nutritious diet ,plenty of water &rest.
In case there is no relief.or the problem increases.... you have take doctor's help &attened ER for adding up another antibiotic.
Thanks.
